  • Received the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association Award for Investigative Excellence and the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department Award for Excellence in Policing for the Hidden Valley Kings case (cited above)

  • Received the Greenville, South Carolina Rotary Club Award for Federal Officer of the Year  for an investigation of Cambodian and Laotian drug traffickers moving narcotics from California to South Carolina.  The case resulted in multiple convictions with significant seizures of cash, drugs, guns, and real estate   

  • Awarded FBI's "Medal of Excellence" while assigned to the Greenville Office of the FBI for outstanding investigations in several violent crime cases as well as providing effective training in firearms and tactics to other FBI Agents, FBI Task Force Officers, and other local law enforcement officers throughout South Carolina

  • Extensive experience working security details domestically and internationally for Attorneys General of the United States and Directors of the FBI

  • Received a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from Georgia Tech

  • Worked as a Mechanical Engineer prior to joining the FBI
